I used these as a starter barefoot shoe. Have been wearing for months and they’re doing great! I might pick a less loud color next time. The looks I get…why is she wearing water shoes? Eh, who cares what people think! My arches were really sore from working out in old running shoes. This gave them the reprieve they needed! If you get a pair, wear them for a short time everyday around the house (half hour to an hour) and gradually work up to wearing outside. I don’t recommend hitting the payment right away or anything really rocky.I alternate between these and cross trainers. These are mostly for light activity. I did well this past weekend, working putting in flooring for 11 hours (I was on my feet the entire time). My feet were sore but I don’t think any footwear would help with that!!I will buy these again but go up a half size. I am true 8, an 8.5 will provide the perfect amount of toe room. I will probably get a pair to just wear in the house as slippers as well! This is a barefoot shoe - there is no support, but this shoe has a thin foam insole that makes it comfy. I bought two pair. One fit perfectly but the other was misshapen and fit weird. They come from China, they're cheap and comfortable...if not defective.I've been searching for a water shoe for years that actually keep the rocks out and this is the one. I bought these for my son after getting a pair for myself and they are great for both of us. If your tired of stopping every 10 mins to get the rocks out of your water shoes get these.I ended up buying and returning several pairs until I found the right size, color and model that fit my feet. I wanted these to try out the 'no rise' shoe craze on the cheap. For the most part these are ok, but I mostly just use them for working in the yard. Not sure the zero rise is for me, but that has nothing to do with the shoes. For the price they are worth 4 starsFirst off, the size is 1 to 1.5 sizes too large. I wear a true size 12 but these size 12s give me 1.5” of toe length. Looks like I’m wearing scuba fins.I wasn’t expecting the foam insole which softens hard asphalt or even trekking over small rocks and pebbles for short distances. I primarily use them for weightlifting at a gym and they are almost perfect. The wide toebox has been noticeable in my foot stability. Even when I’m standing barefoot in a squatting stance, my toes more naturally splay out without trying and my flat foot grips the ground with a definite arch visible. Im not saying theyll turn a flat foot into an arched sprinter, but they will definitely allow you to utilize your natural individual arch in balance and strength movements. My biggest issues with the shoes was that they ran about a size too big. My feet had too much length to work with so often times my heels had about an inch gap from the shoe. Another issue for me was in one shoe digging into my left achilles and causing bleeding after a workout session of just lifting and walking between stations. Next time, I will be ordering a size smaller in these shoes. This is the shoe I was searching for! I had no idea what shoe I needed, only that none of the shoes I have are what I needed! I gave this one a try...so comfortable and fit perfectly! My feet do not feel cramped or like they are suffocating. Light weight and comfortable without socks. My arthritic knees even feel better in these shoes!Ordered my usual size, but they seemed a bit small, so I returned them and ordered one size up- much better fit. Really love these shoes! Super comfortable! I wear them walking in our neighborhood, and hope to try them out on a trail soon. I’m very pleased with this purchase and recommend these shoes to anyone wanting to try a minimalist/barefoot shoe at an affordable price.Just feels right inside or outside climbing up a tree or cliff..
